Update: Release 2.20 – Cloud, Agent, Vault and AD Connector

We are pleased to announce the release of Cloud, Agent, Vault and AD Connector version 2.20. This release aims to further improve stability of Cibecs Endpoint Cloud as well as provide peace of mind with further improvements to ensure your data is safe.

We have optimized the way Cloud handles team and user delete requests to provide a smoother and more stable experience when using Endpoint Cloud.

On the Agent side we have improved proxy detection for better handling of connections internally and externally. We have also made improvements to our Geo-Location feature to ensure you know exactly where your devices are.

Update

  • Device team stability improvement has been introduced when assigning a large number of devices to a team.
  • Device delete stability improvement when deleting a team that has multiple devices assigned.
  • Web client stability optimisation to reduce load on Endpoint Cloud services when assigning multiple devices to Teams or when performing multiple device deletes.
  • Improved backend lookup handling when detecting if a devices already exists or is new. This will reduce load on Endpoint Cloud services and reduce lookup response times.
  • Geo-location accuracy has been improved by scanning for WiFi access points more frequently.
  • Proxy improvements for better handling of connections to internal and external data sources.
  • Log4J components in the Vault, AD Connector and Agent have been upgraded to the latest version to avoid false positives in vulnerability scans.

Bugfix

  • Fixed an un-revoke issue which could occur when a device has many EFS certificates to restore and caused the un-revoke to not complete successfully.
  • Resolved an issue causing teams to remain under the team list even though it has been deleted from the backend.
Please note: There is a retrospective fix that is still needed to cleanup these stale teams, this will be done in an upcoming release.
